The story behind the site

Why I built
Mini Money Matters

I wanted to know which online earning platforms were actually worth my time — not in theory, not from a YouTube ad, but from real use. So I made accounts, I tested them, and I filmed my honest take on each one. Every payout, every disappointment — it's all documented publicly. This site is the written record that lives alongside the videos.

Every dollar earned, invested.

The challenge is simple: every dollar that comes in from any side hustle platform goes directly into my Robinhood portfolio — no exceptions, no spending it. The goal isn't to get rich from side hustles. It's to turn small, consistent earnings into something that compounds over time.

Mini Money Matters documents that experiment publicly. The platforms I review are the ones I've actually used. The ratings reflect real experience, not research.

Personally tested. No exceptions.

Every platform on this site has a real account behind it. I don't review things I haven't used, and I note when I last tested each one — because these platforms change. A great app in 2024 can become a waste of time in 2025, and vice versa.

Ratings are based on four things:

1
How much you can realistically earn
2
How much effort it takes
3
How reliable the payouts are
4
Whether I'd recommend it to someone I know

What you should know.

Referral links

Some platforms have them. Using mine earns the channel a small bonus at no extra cost to you.

Sponsors

None right now. If that ever changes, the sponsored platform's review page will carry a visible badge and I'll note it plainly in the review itself. No quiet swaps.

Mistakes

If a fee, cashout amount, or rating is wrong, I want to know. You can reach me through any of the socials below.

Where to find me.

The full experiment plays out across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram — earnings updates, short-form platform reviews, and the Robinhood portfolio as it grows.
